In this video, we showcase a popular Filipino tradition seen in birthday parties called Pabitin or Palabunutan. It's a fun game where kids jump up and reach for treats attached to a bamboo contraption that's lowered by a rope. The treats consist of candies and small toys which the kids absolutely love.
This is part of our Kiddie Parlor Games series, where we show you different games that can be played in parties. To watch the whole playlist, click here: [ Ссылка ].
In the video, you'll see how the bamboo pieces are nailed together to create a giant tic-tac-toe-like structure, which is then wrapped in colorful paper. You can make this yourself, but you can also buy one at a local market for less than a dollar. The treats can range from chocolate bars, coins, small toys, and candies, depending on what you prefer.
What's fun about this game is that the bigger kids usually get more treats since they can jump higher. However, safety is always a priority when handling this contraption. We make sure to drop it on the kids safely without hurting anyone, as you can see in the video.
This particular video was taken with a GoPro, which allowed us to capture the action up close and personal. You'll see the excitement on the kids' faces as they jump up and down, trying to grab as many treats as they can.
Overall, Pabitin is a beloved Filipino tradition that's been passed down from generation to generation. It's a great way to add some fun and excitement to any party, and it's something that both kids and adults can enjoy.
