Everett Peck was thrown a curveball a few years ago when he had quadruple bypass open heart surgery. More recently, he was diagnosed with a narrowing heart valve, which usually means open heart surgery. But a heart valve can be replaced using a less invasive method known as TAVR (Total Aortic Valve Replacement). ABC4 spoke with Trey O'Neal, MD, from the Intermountain Medical Center Heart Institute about the procedure and how the team performed it's 1000th TAVR procedure.
