Festivals are incomplete without the traditional Indian desserts. So here is the Sooji ka Halwa Recipe but in a twisted way which is called Caramel Halwa.
Soak the semolina in 2 cups of milk and keep aside for 30 minutes. Heat the ghee in a pan and add the sugar and mix well and cook on a low flame, till the sugar is caramelized and melts, while stirring continuously.
When the sugar turns brown, add the soaked semolina, mix well and cook for 5 minutes, while stirring continuously.
Add the cardamom powder and dry fruits serve hot.
Note:- Ensure that you do not overcook the sugar or be tempted to deepen the color of the caramel, else the halwa can turn bitter in taste.
