Professor G. John Ikenberry is the Albert G. Milbank Professor of Politics and International Affairs at the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, at Princeton University. He is also Co-Director of Princeton's Center for International Security Studies.
In addition to a distinguished academic career, Prof. Ikenberry has served as an advisor to the United States Department of State and as a long-serving member of the U.S. Council on Foreign Relations.
Prof. Ikenberry has written widely on international and strategic affairs and American foreign policy. He was awarded the 2002 Schroeder-Jervis Award, presented by the American Political Science Association, for his work After Victory: Institutions, Strategic Restraint, and the Rebuilding of Order after Major Wars (Princeton, 2001).
