Merging can get messy! It is probably the scariest thing you can do to your tree in FamilySearch, but it is so helpful to get things cleaned up and ensure there are not duplicate people in the Family Tree.
In this video, I show you how to use the NEW FamilySearch merging tool that came out in April 2020. Merging can be simple and quick, but often it creates a domino effect of merging multiple family members and fixing parent-child relationships. In this video, it gets a bit messy. I even made a mistake (or it could be a glitch) and had to fix it after I started editing the original video!
