Book review - The Magic Of Thinking Big by David J. Schwartz.
I love this book. It's a little old school and some of the language and situations don't translate as well as they used to. However, the ideas and principles in this book are some of the biggest and boldest I've ever seen.
Aim of the book
Help you scale your thinking and genuinely believe in bigger success
Who is the book for?
People who are looking to improve their lives, businesses and careers
People who WANT to start thinking big
People who want bigger results and wonder why others “have” things that they want
What type of book?
It's a self help book designed with a program delivery
What's it similar to?
7 habits of successful people
Think and grow rich
What I liked
* Lots of examples and repetition
* It's nothing you haven't heard before, but it re-enforces it
* Business, money, work, employment, management, love, relationships - all can be altered
* Nothing to do with intellect, money or looks
* Challenges your perception of your environment and thinking
What I didn't like
Some of the language and examples are “of their time”
Biggest takeaway
You are what you think you are
