Jagadguru Shri Shri Chandrasekharendra Saraswati Swamigal, also known as Mahaperiyava, was the 68th Jagadguru of the Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham.

Kalpataru Productions present 'Mahaperiyava Akshara Paamalai' in 27 voices. During the COVID'19, when the world was in turmoil, we brought together 27 Periyava devotees to sing the Paamalai from the safety of each one's home. These Bhaktas are from many different corners of the world, in different walks of life, united for a single cause - Prayer.

This production is a humble Samarpanam to Periyava not only through musical skill but also through the showcasing of traditional South Indian attire. Traditional dressing has been given immense importance to add cultural value to the rendition, and to experience the creating of it.

On this auspicious day of Guru Poornima, let us bring oneness to the world through prayer, from our homes to yours.
