Verse 1


Jesus was in a boat one day, heading towards the shore.
When crowds began to follow him - Five thousand people or more


Taking pity, he healed their sick, and then began to teach.
The people stayed all day with him, just to hear him preach.


The day drew to a close and his disciples came to say.
Its late, the crowds should eat something. Send them all away.




Verse 2


Jesus then replied to them. You feed them all instead.
"But How?" they cried. "We've just two fish and these five loaves of bread."


That won't be enough they thought for all these men to eat.
But Jesus took the food and told the crowds to take a seat.


Giving thanks he broke the loaves, and everybody there
Ate their fill, and yet they still had 12 baskets left spare.
