I chat about some recently read middle-grade books and what I learned about writing craft from them. Being new to writing in this age category, I made a point of consuming quite a few of these to try and learn more and am excited to share my insights with you.
This Writing by Reading series is one where I examine some recent books that I've read with something in common between them and discuss some interesting craft things I learned. I'm a firm believer that reading often can help improve your writing and storytelling skills, and that's what this series is all about.
What's something you've learned from reading middle grade? Have you ever written middle grade? Would you like to? Comment and share!
