An elderly man was seen arguing with staff wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) in a community in Shanghai, China, as the city was under lockdown during an outbreak of the Omicron variant of COVID-19.
The resident tells a lady sitting at the table “wrap it up” before knocking the table over. He later says “leave now. Wrap this up.”
One of the men in blue PPE says “you are protesting if you behave like this,” while pointing at the man.
Chinese health authorities reported 1,292 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 858 new asymptomatic cases on April 28.
