It could well be that Hitler's gold was simply tossed out and ended up on this nazi era landfill. Yes, all nasty things found like UXO's and finds that could be important from an archaeology perspective are reported to the local authorities.
-Do you sell finds?
I am a collector myself so I hardly sell relics. But if I do then I'll post it on the social media pages or check out my Patron's website. I share finds with my Patrons (check the Patreon website for more details).
-How do you gain permission for metal detecting?
Check out local laws regarding metal detecting and get permission from the landowner. Or hook up with a local metal detecting club in the area you would like to detect and get your information from them. (I stopped responding to questions like this all together, I'm Iron Mike not Google Mike..)
