Noel was the youngest of Merle’s children with his first wife, Leona Hobbs, born the same year Merle recorded his first single (“Sing A Sad Song,” 1963). This song is from Noel’s only album, One Lifetime (1997). The whole album, this song included, is kind of poppy, but... he's Hag's son, the song mentions Texas a lot, and there's some decent pedal steel. Thus I clap for it.
