Parts of Miami was flooded on Memorial Day (May 25) as torrential rain continued to pour down from the weekend.
The National Weather Service said that flash flooding could occur over southern and central Florida, and that heavy rain will spread northward to coastal sections of northeast Florida, Georgia and the Carolinas over the next two days.
Video obtained by Reuters showed flooding in Brickell, Miami, the city's financial center. "I haven't seen Brickell this bad since Irma," tweeted Ryan Rea, who provided Reuters with the footage.
