Ed Sheeran urged to make poignant gesture to Ukraine soldiers at Birmingham concert
Members of the Ukrainian band Antytila have reached out to Ed Sheeran on social media to ask if they can perform remotely at the Concert for Ukraine due to take place in Birmingham on March 29. They posted a video to Tiktok which has more than 2.6m views and thousands of comments tagging Ed Sheeran.
The band explained that they had only just heard of the concert taking place, and asked to join the two hour show via livestream, which will take place at the Resorts World Arena in Birmingham and on ITV to raise money. Current acts confirmed for the show include Ed Sheeran, Camila Cabello, Emeli Sande, Gregory Porter and Snow Patrol.
