Replacing the clutch on the E93 M3 project car. The car has 210k miles on it, and this is its second clutch change. This is the first time I have replaced a clutch.
Removing the transmission was the most difficult part. You have to tilt the engine using an engine support bar, and get the angle on the transmission just right to be able to pull it out.
I split the project up over 4 days, averaging maybe 6 hours a day. It's a reasonable job to do as a diy. It would be much easier if you had a lift.
