What's New With Google Nest? || Updates, Features, and More!

Ready for the latest features, new updates, and all the new product launches with Google Nest products in your smart home? If you have a Google Home speaker, Google Nest smart display, Nest Thermostat, camera, doorbell, or more, then these are the new features and updates for your whole system. I'll even go into the Google Chromecast (with Google TV) and much more to tell you all about the latest and greatest news with #GoogleNest.

Speaking of which, Arlo has come forward with some new notification triggers on the Arlo Pro 3, Pro 4, and Essential cameras/doorbell. You can trigger different notifications. That's a first, but it requires the Arlo Secure subscription from Arlo themselves. That's quite the piece of #news.

Also, I'll show you new suggestions for your Google Assistant, including routines, reminders, Family Bell, and Shortcuts on your phone. Those are #GoogleAssistant Shortcuts, but that means you have a new permissions setting in the Google Home app that I think you need to have a look at. Each and every one of your apps likely has been enabled to be inspected by the Google Assistant for what you do so that they can create recommendations for Shortcuts.

I'll show you a browser on your Google Nest Hub (and other Google Assistant enabled smart displays), a new way to trigger Google Home Actions, a Google Nest WiFi device speed test that helps you diagnose issues with your network, and a number of other basic Google Nest features that you can enable and use today.
