Tua Tagovailoa is one of the rare left handed passers in the NFL, other famous left handed quarterback legends include Steve Young, Michael Vick, and Boomer Esiason (oh, and we dare say...Tim Tebow)

However, Tua was not always a southpaw. In fact, he actually does everything else in life RIGHT-HANDED. Tagovailoa's father, Galu — himself left-handed— turned his son to a lefty simply so that he would not be the family’s only left-hander.

“I just always wanted someone to be a lefty with me. It just became fluent and he just grew into it, that’s the crazy part about it. I never thought I could make him adapt to that. As we constantly kept putting the ball on his left hand, eventually he grew into throwing the ball with his left.”
