Translucent Porcelain Recipes, Ceramic Knives and Nerikomi. Enjoy a kiln full of colored porcelain, glowing translucent porcelain and my newest project, ceramic knife making. I've been modifying and mixing new clay recipes to replace my current clay. My current porcelain fires to cone 5 and I'm looking to modify it and bump the temperature up to a cone 6 porcelain recipe. There are 7 translucent porcelain recipes tested in this video and the rest is agateware, nerikomi, neriage, and marbled clay pottery. The ceramic knife making is in its early stages but I've made one semi successful prototype that you can find on my instagram.
