Footage of counter-insurgency operations conducted by the Rhodesian Security Force in response to cross border raids conducted by Black African nationalist Guerrillas.
The new wave of insurgents from across the Zambezi River represented a tougher, better trained guerrilla capable of striking further into Rhodesian territory than they previously did.
The guerrilla raid at the time of this footage was a reaction to the execution of 5 Africans in Salisbury that month.
