We've collected all the aetherium shards for Lost to the Ages, but there are a few things we need to take care of first before finishing that quest. We've successfully leveled Archery to 77, which is as high as we need to level it before free levels can take care of the rest. Since we've gotten the Scholar's Insight power, we can go ahead and start reading some Archery skill books, as well as visit Angi's camp for her unnamed quest that nets us a whopping six levels of Archery for free.
We start by reading some Archery skill books in Whiterun, then take care of this level's training at the College, then read another skill book in Markarth after following up with Muiri from Mourning Never Comes. It's then time to make the trek to Angi's camp. My first try I fast travel to Helgen, but Lydia apparently got caught up aggro-ing bandits, which left me alone when I ran into a world encounter of four bandits on the road.
We reload and try traveling to the Guardian Stones first, but then a dragon decides to visit. It's a lesser dragon so we take it down (and the troll it was fighting) without Lydia's help, who couldn't make it across the river for some reason. That done, we finally set out on the road. I get the same world encounter again with the bandits (who I believe were attacking and killed a merchant, although I never could find his body), but this time Lydia is with me and I'm ready. Sort of. It takes a few reloads as they have a couple of deadly archers who keep sniping me, but persistence is the key to success.
That done we continue on the trail. There's a bandit camp on the way that we were going to visit eventually anyway, as it has an Alteration skill book, so it dovetails nicely. These bandits are much easier, going down without a single reload.
We finally arrive at Angi's Camp. Angi is one of my favorite NPCs in the game. She tells you her story of how some imperial soldiers killed her family, and you just know a quest is coming. Sure enough, your next dialog prompt is, "Need help taking care of it?", to which she replies, "Already did." I know quests are the point of RPGs, but it's just refreshing to find an NPC who can take care of their own business for once. Angi is quite the looker, too, and it's a shame she's not a marriage candidate.
All that said, we go through her reasonably easy training course to get a ridiculous six levels of Archery. I did have to reload a couple of times - the timed trials are slightly challenging, and I don't have the best mouse in the world for quickly and precisely homing in.
We cut the video with a nice overlook of Falkreath as we've already passed the hour mark. Next time we have one more thing to take care of before finally finishing Lost to the Ages.
