About the recordings:
The recordings used in this video clip were taken from a 2-record set that dates 76 years old as of this writing and they do show their age. I'm well aware of the fact that these recordings have been remastered and reissued in other formats in cleaner versions. However, it is my intention to present this set in it's entirety and I have arranged the recordings in chronological order. One must also note that no photos have ever surfaced of Clarence Smith and none of the photos used in the video are of him. I hope you enjoy my presentation, it is what is as they say. Thank you, Mike Gann.
