Crew assembled on deck of the German battleship Schleswig-Holstein, are ordered to their duty stations. As first step in the operation, German forces invade Denmark. A line of German troop ships tied up at port in Copenhagen, Denmark. German troops disembark and proceed into the city. Location: Copenhagen Denmark. Date: April 9, 1940.
