Thomas Kingston, the wealthy banker who was married to Lady Gabriella Kingston, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 45, according to an announcement made by Buckingham Palace on Tuesday.

In 2019, Kingston tied the knot with Lady Gabriella in a magnificent wedding that took place at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle. This event marked the beginning of Kingston's marriage into the most famous family in Britain.

In a statement released by her family on Tuesday, Lady Gabriella, who is 42 years old and the daughter of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, paid tribute to her "beloved husband." She described him as "an exceptional man who lit up the lives of all who knew him." Lady Gabriella is located in the 56th position in the line of succession to the British throne.

She went on to say that "his death has come as a great shock to the entire family."

Buckingham Palace announced that King Charles III and Queen Camilla had been informed of the death of the financier. They added that they "join Prince and Princess Michael of Kent and all those who knew him in grieving a much-loved member of the family."

A representative for the palace stated that "in particular, Their Majesties send their most heartfelt thoughts and prayers to Gabriella and to all of the Kingston family."

On Sunday, the body of Kingston was discovered at a residence in Gloucestershire. Emergency services were dispatched to the location shortly after six o'clock, which is equivalent to one o'clock Eastern Time.

For the purpose of determining the cause of death, an inquest is anticipated to take place; however, CNN has been informed that there are no suspicious circumstances or other individuals considered to be involved.

It is not true that Lady Gabriella, who is the King's second cousin, is a member of the royal family who is officially employed.Earlier on Tuesday, before to the announcement of Kingston's passing, her parents, Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, had been present at a memorial service for the late King Constantine II of Greece. Other members of the British royal family were also present at the occasion.

In accordance with the PA Media news agency in the United Kingdom, Constantine, who passed away in January of the previous year, served as Lady Gabriella's godfather.

Due to a personal reason, Prince William, who was also a godchild of the deceased Greek king, did not show up for the memorial service that was held at St. George's at the very last minute. On the other hand, it is generally accepted that the absence of the Prince of Wales was not related to the unfortunate news of Kingston's passing.
