I have been really obsessed with this shiny hunting method ever since I discovered it a few weeks ago!
A few days ago I had one of my best shiny days of all time in Pokemon Legends Arceus. I actually got 4 shiny Pokemon in a span of 20 minutes and all together I got 6 shiny Pokemon during that day!
The way I'm doing this is by force respawning entire areas while I'm completing Pokedex research for specific Pokemon. So I'm using the certain moves that the Pokedex requires for research on weak Pokemon and once I take out all the Pokemon in that area I simply rest at camp to another time of day and when I go back to the area I was in ALL THE POKEMON RESPAWN!
It's so much simpler and faster than going all the way back to Jubilife Village, however I never hear anybody talking about this method. Now obviously Mass Outbreaks and Massive Mass Outbreaks are going to be better shiny hunting methods, but you can't use those to complete research for perfect Pokedex entries. The Pokemon are too strong and there's too many of them in groups and it would take forever to get your research done. Trust me I have tried it and you don't get any research done you just spend the whole time shiny hunting instead.
This is a great shiny hunting method for people like me who are trying to get their Pokedex research done as fast as possible and just enjoy having the chance to get a shiny Pokemon along the way. You could do this method anywhere in the game on any wild Pokemon and once you catch or defeat them all you simply rest until another time of day and they all respawn so you're getting your research done by knocking them out with the specific move you need to use as well as shiny hunting the Pokemon that you want to find shiny!
