Join us as we walk along the City Road Basin in the Islington/Hackney borderlands. Here we view some of the magnificent buildings and architecture on City Road through the iconic Lexicon and Canaletto structures. We walk along the Basin looking at its history with the building of the Regent's Canal, and how it became a distribution centre for London. This place fuelled the Industrial Revolution and World Trade!! We move onto Wharf Road to view another example of impressive architecture. What is going on here? The finish is on the Regent's Canal next to the Narrowboat Pub and close to Wenlock Basin. All this is done on a beautiful summer's day! Please join us.
