Total Overdose is a third-person shooter video game developed by Deadline Games and published by Eidos Interactive and SCi Games, originally released in September 2005. It follows the story of Ramiro "Ram" Cruz, a former criminal who is recruited by the DEA to infiltrate and dismantle a drug cartel in Mexico. The game is set in a fictionalized version of Mexico, where Ram must complete various missions and tasks, including driving, shooting, and exploring, to gather information and take down the cartel. Along the way, Ram encounters various characters, including his estranged twin brother, who help him in his mission. The game's story culminates in a final showdown with the drug lord Papa Muerte to avenge Ram's father's death and bring justice to the people of Mexico.
