The Pharisees had a habit of following the rules, making more rules, and trying to please God through their actions, yet in Matthew 15:1-9 Pastor Reyes reminds us of the importance of God and His love toward us. What God desires is that we love Him with all our heart and that we don’t just act the part of a Christian, but that we live the Christian life and tell others the wonders of God’s love. Let’s be careful not to make our rules more important than the God we serve!
