Growing up in Shandong China, Eric Yuan had a happy childhood and was greatly influenced by his parents.
In 4th grade, Yuan would collect construction scraps to recycle copper for Cash.
China was still in the very early beginnings of its growth stage, and as the son of geology engineers, Eric decided to study applied mathematics with a minor in computer application form the Shandong University of Science and Technology.
