Meaning of mantra-

I pay homage to the radiance of the lamp, which bestows blessings, well-being, and abundance upon its surroundings. It eradicates impure emotions and detrimental energies from both the environment and the psyche. Through the illumination of this lamp, all hostile sentiments are vanquished.

The radiant and divine Lord Shree Krishna manifests as a luminous light emanating from a lamp. Similar to how light banishes darkness, this verse possesses the ability to liberate us from the burdens of the mind, including anger, greed, pride, and jealousy. Our human form serves as a means to attain God. When recited with utmost devotion, this verse also bestows health and prosperity upon the soul. It is essential to chant this verse after kindling the ghee lamp in the presence of the deity.
