When you have finally made it out the back, your next step in surfing is catching a wave. There is nothing worse than seeing that wave coming to you, it's your turn in the lineup, you've been sitting out there waiting for 15 minutes, and then you miss the wave! Straight to the back of the queue you go.
Most of the work is done before those final paddles though. In this video we help you recognise a peak, where you need to paddle to catch it, when to start paddling and when to dig deep with those paddles!
