Drum Major Walter Davidson leading the combined pipe bands into the Games field playing "Scotland the Brave" for the opening of the 2024 Drumtochty Highland Games. These were held in the grounds of Drumtochty Castle at Auchenblae in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, on Saturday 22nd June 2024.
Leading Drum Major Walter Davidson is followed by Drum Majors Bill Barclay and Neil Jamieson, and the bands taking part were the Lonach Pipe Band, Dunnottar Pipes and Drums and Howe o' the Mearns Pipe Band, all playing the popular bagpipe tunes Scotland the Brave into the Rowan Tree.
