A verdict is due in Paris in the trial of a former Rwandan army captain accused of taking part in the 1994 genocide.
Prosecutors are seeking a life sentence for Pascale Simbikangwa.
They want him to be declared guilty of genocide and not only of complicity - the charge brought against him.
The case is the first of its kind on French soil.
