As gas shortages and Russia's war on Ukraine raise concerns for Germany's economy, Chancellor Olaf Scholz is meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in Montreal.
Energy solutions dominated the discussion. In a press conference, the two leaders also defended Canada's decision to allow turbines used on Russia's state-owned pipeline to be repaired in Montreal, a choice that caused outrage in Ukraine.
