Refreshing chilled glass of chaas made is a perfect beverage for summer days.
MASALA CHAAS
Ingredients
2 cups yogurt
1 tablespoon cumin seeds
½ cup mint leaves
½ cup fresh coriander leaves
1 green chilli
½ inch ginger
Black salt to taste
Method
1. Heat a non-stick pan. Dry roast cumin seeds till fragrant.
2. Transfer the roasted cumin seeds into a mortar and crush them
with pastel.
3. Grind together mint leaves, coriander leaves, green chilli, roughly
chopped ginger and 2-3 tablespoons yogurt into a fine paste.
4. Add remaining yogurt and black salt and grind again. Add
roasted cumin powder and blend well.
5. Serve chilled garnished with roasted cumin powder.
Preparation Time: 5-8 minutes
Cooking Time: 2-3 minutes
