The ruined medieval fortress of Ludlow Castle is one of the most fascinating places to visit. Not only is this a picturesque ruin which you are able to explore, even climb to the very top of the keep, but its history is far-reaching.
Once the home of the Princes of Wales and notably, the place where Arthur Tudor returned with his new bride, Katherine of Aragon but tragically died after less than 6 months of marriage.
