We are all born with dignity. We are all equal. We all have the same rights. This is the promise of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, adopted 70 years ago in the aftermath of the Second World War.

On 10 December 2018, Human Rights Day, national human rights institutions across the Asia Pacific celebrated this landmark anniversary.
