Hello CGS fans, I had a small matchbox Sherman tank that I intended to create something special for my late Grandfather, who proudly served as a WWII veteran. Regrettably, I never managed to complete the project before he passed away. However, on Memorial Day, I dedicated my time to working on it, reflecting on his service in the 39th Infantry.
I pondered whether this homemade creation would match the quality of a small kit model, and although the level of detail falls slightly short, I knew I could compensate for it by adding mud and dirt effects. Creating these miniature dioramas has become a favorite pastime of mine, as space for larger models has become scarce. The compact size of this tank, fitting in the palm of my hand, offers a unique charm and allows for more immersive environments. Perhaps in the future, I'll revisit this piece and add some explosion effects, but for now, I'm content with its current state. Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments.
