‘Rice Kheer’ is simply an Indian version of rice pudding. It is one of the easiest Indian desserts to make and is a popular dish across India.

Ingredient:
¼ cup Rice
4 cup Milk
1 cup Milk
Dry Fruits
6-8 Saffron strands
¼ cup Sugar
Pinch of Salt
Cardamom powder
Method:
Wash and soak ¼ cup rice in water for 30 minutes.

In a pan, heat 4 cup milk. Add the soaked rice, 6-8 saffron strands and stir.

Cook for 35-40 minutes and reduce to get desired thickness.

Add dry fruits, ¼ cup sugar, 1 cup milk and cardamom powder to taste.

Serve hot and delicious rice kheer!
