Who doesn't love a good topwater bite? There is nothing more fun than catching bass on topwater lures, and summer time is a great time of year to catch them at the top of the water column. Let's face it, topwater fishing is a year round thing, but as those water temps rise, the bass really get keyed in on those topwater baits. There are so many out there to choose from though, so where should you start? In this video I pick out my 3 favorite topwater lures for summer time fishing. This is just my opinion, and does not mean that all of the other awesome topwater baits out there are bad. Frankly, it depends on many different conditions to determine the very best topwater lure for any given day on the water, but if you can only have 3 topwater baits in the summer time, these will do for sure!
