We are sorry! The marine camera is temporarily experiencing broadcasting problems after the recent weather events. We are working on getting it back on-line. Thank you for your patience.
In partnership with Washington State Ferry System (WSDOT) and View into the Blue, Vashon Nature Center (vashonnaturecenter.org) has installed a livestreaming marine camera at the Tahlequah ferry dock. This camera is not currently lighted so will not be available for viewing after dark. The camera doubles as a way for VNC scientists and volunteers to monitor the effects of a shoreline restoration project while providing a fun educational experience for everyone!
Did you see something cool when watching? Email us with the timestamp! wonder@vashonnaturecenter.org

We hope you enjoy this livestream. May it entertain countless islanders in the ferry line.
The camera and installation was supported in part by a grant from CREOi. Thank you CREOi!
And thank you to WSDOT staff, Trevor Mendelow of View into the Blue, and islanders James and Nick Hyde, Logan Sinner, Jason Willams, Rusty Knowler, and Steve Fogard for helping get this thing up and running. It wasn't easy!
