Follow along as I sprout seeds collected in 2017 from a huge pepper plant in Texas named “Queen Piquín”.

The seeds were generously gifted to me by
🍭Dulce 🍬the creator of the YouTube channel CandysGarden. Watch as I demonstrate how I FINALLY figured out how to easily sprout Chiltepin pepper seeds thanks to Dulce and the Pepper Guy’s videos on easily growing piquín/chiltepin peppers.

The steps I took to grow a ton of Chiltepin seedlings in just 13 days:

1. Soak seeds in 8% bleach solution for 5 minutes. Rinse seeds throughly with water once the five minute soak is complete.

2. Scatter prepared seeds on the surface of damp potting soil in a container with a lid, or cover the container of your choice with a clear plastic bag.

3. Place container with seeds on a heat mat and turn on a plant light. I use cheep shop lights with T8 bulbs… nothing fancy
