Should you buy your Tesla now or wait for the perfect one? That is a question I constantly get from people interested in buying one. The Technology is moving fast but with over the air updates and their product line evolving as opposed to total remodels every few years I feel you should buy one now if you are totally happy with how they are now. If the current models don't satisfy your needs then either wait or look to other manufactures that do. Also, don't get caught up in the hype.
