National Geographic Explorers Ronan Donovan and Maurice Oniang'o are photographers and filmmakers whose work often focuses on the complex relationships between wildlife and humans.
From documenting the life of wild wolves in Yellowstone and the impact humans have on this species, to filming documentaries about vipers to raise awareness and demystify the superstitions that surround snakes, Ronan and Maurice are hoping that through their work they can inform audiences and find solutions towards a future of coexistence between animals and humans. This week’s assignment will ask participants to photograph ways in which nature and the environment are part of their lives.
This event is recommended for storytellers ages 16 and up.
