To stay closely connected with alumni after graduation, many Taiwanese universities issue alumni cards. For example, the National Taiwan University alumni card not only offers a discount on campus parking but also provides various perks like discounts on airline tickets and hotel reservations. Many current students are therefore eager prepare to apply for their alumni cards once they graduate.
An NTU alumnus recorded a video at the university’s gate, enthusiastically discussing the many benefits of the alumni card.
By entering their vehicle license plate number to park at National Taiwan University, the original parking fee of NT$30 is immediately halved to NT$15 simply by using the alumni card.
Once you leave the campus, even nearby shops offer discounts when you make a purchase.
