I tried to build a motorised rig to capture a 360 'The Matrix' freeze time camera effect with one camera. This project took two days, using what I could find around the house.
This project was designed as a challenge to see if I could replicate the bullet time Matrix effect on a budget. This took just two days using minimal tools and whatever components I already had at home. This DIY 360 camera move is known to be one of the most challenging effects to pull off, so I hope that by showing you this revolving camera rig you can see that even this can be achieved without spending crazy money on equipment. I hope you enjoy this behind the scenes look at how this camera rig freezes time!
