Emilia Clarke CONFIRMS Relationship RUMORS With Jason Momoa
Hey there! It seems like not every celebrity couple is keen on hiding their relationship status. Whilst other celebrities are reluctant to praise their partners and make a statement about their relationship or liking of the other, Emilia Clarke did not refrain. After all, if you like something someone does, or just generally like the person, there is really no shame in admitting any of that. Even more, especially when the other person has been exceedingly thoughtful and caring. That kind of genuine thoughtfulness is really hard to come by these days. And so, it is no surprise that Emilia Clarke chose to break the silence to let everyone know of her liking of Jason Momoa and silence the relationship rumors once and for all.
Before we talk about the latest proceedings, we need to understand where both Emilia Clarke and Jason Momoa are coming from. Emilia Clarke graduated from the Drama Center in London in 2010, following which she made her acting debut in Triassic Attack, a 2010 TV film. However, that was not what made her known as she went on to secure one of the main roles in the TV series, Game of Thrones. Of course, that is probably where you know Clarke from, and it was the main cause behind her rise to popularity. In the series, Clarke played Daenerys Targaryen – daughter of an ousted noble who wishes to reclaim her father’s lost kingdom.
However, before Daenerys turns into the smart and determined warrior queen and mother of the dragons, she starts off pretty innocent. In fact, her character starts with a pretty sad beginning, being oppressed and highly submissive, repressing all thoughts and emotions. And that is where Jason Momoa comes into the picture. You see, Game of Thrones is known for its not so child friendly moments. She is shown as having been married off to a ruthless leader of a warrior tribe, Khal Drogo, who is played by Jason Momoa.
As such, the intimate scenes shot between her and Momoa depict inconsiderateacts where Daenerys participates in n with her husband who has no regard for her mental acceptance of all that is going on. Understandably, such scenes can be very tough to shoot, especially when you have just begun your professional acting career. Since Clarke had just recently graduated and Game of Thrones was her second project, she was beyond nervous appearing on screen and was also a bit hesitant at first to shoot any of these scenes.
Ironically, the person to help her out the most during such challenging shots was Jason Momoa, who was playing her brutish husband. Clarke has credited him with taking extensive and obvious measures to make sure that Clarke was comfortable doing these shots and went out of his way to make sure all his concerns were being understood throughout the cast and filming crew. He even demanded that the crew gave Clarke warm blankets to cover herself up with during the shots so that she does not catch a cold and does not feel uncomfortable throughout. Whilst Game of Thrones was definitely questioned for the inclusion of such acts, Momoa was praised highly by Clarke as being the core enabler that allowed her to comfortably perform her roles as an actress.
That is where their deep friendship begins and is also the point due to which Clarke expressed her liking for Momoa. Since Game of Thrones was a huge success, both Clarke and Momoa have received numerous projects afterward. For Momoa, his subsequent career highlights have been his consecutive roles as Aquaman in the titular film series, Aquaman. But their relationship as co-stars has not only remained but prospered throughout the years. Jason Momoa has expressed his liking for Clarke and has also made sure that he holds back no opinions of admiration for her. When Clarke suffered from Hemorrhage during the shooting of the first season, Momoa had remained close by her side throughout. After her second bout with the potentially life-threatening disease, Momoa expressed his concerns saying that the world almost lost her twice and that is very sad since he loves her.
