Bollywood actress Kalki Koechlin who was last seen in 'Happy Ending' is super excited for her forthcoming film 'Margarita With A Straw'. The actresses is busy promoting her film at different platforms. While on the promotional spree, Kalki, with director Shonali Bose took some time, for an interview.
'Margarita with a straw' is the story of a girl named Laila, who is suffering from a physical disorder, Cerebral Palsy, but manages to go and settleabroad. During the interview, both the actress and the director spoke about their movie, which has been the talk of the town since quite some time now. The two shared their experiences while shooting and also revealed how it took 3-4 years for the film to finally finish.
At the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival, 'Margarita With A Straw' won the NETPAC award as the Best Asian Film. The movie is slated to have a national release in India on 17 April 2015.
