We took a trip to Richfield UT to fly at the Red Rocks fly-in. Tony took a full collaps on launch on the second day. Super scary! We were launching from the Cove launch in Monroe. The launch is just above 8k. The winds were light and switching between S and W. When we saw that the wind direction changed to West for a little while we all switched to the west facing launch. There was a couple big cycles that came through and when it was said and done, Tony launched into a strong weird cycle and took a full collapse. He landed on his back. It was on top of a boulder. He instantly was taken to the ER by one of the drivers. We decided to take a sled ride strait to the LZ. In the end Tony was good to go after going to ER and getting a quick MRI. It was a fun trip, but there was quite a bit of chaos involved.
