This incident began when police were notified of a reckless driver nearly running people off the road. The dramatic high speed chase that follows ends when an officer seizes a moment of opportunity and rams the suspect, causing the fleeing car to crash into a gas pump, which then ignites. The blazing inferno surrounds the left side of the car, and the suspect remains inside. Eventually the same officer pushes the car out of the flames, and at this point, the suspect tries to take off again. But this time, police surround the car and after a struggle, they extract the stubborn driver from his steaming vehicle.
