Dr. Mike X Cohen is an associate principal investigator at the Donders Institute in the Netherlands. He studies systems neuroscience, mainly oscillations in the brain. Here he talks about his academic trajectory, research, what he'd study if he were to do a PhD now, and some advice for early academics. He has made some accessible, really amazing data analysis tutorials and has put them up on his YouTube channel (link below). Be sure to check that out as well. For now, enjoy the interview.
